Edinburgh Community Solar Co-operative
Edinburgh Community Solar, which owns and operates 30 solar panel installations throughout Edinburgh with a total generating capacity of 1.38MW, will be launching their next share offer in late 2025/early 2026.
Wey Valley Solar Schools Co-operative
Wey Valley Solar Schools Co-op owns 11 rooftop solar PV installations, mainly on schools in Surrey. They have been operating since 2011 and inspired the successful Schools Energy Co-op which has gone on to complete more than 100 installations across the country.
They are working towards a share offer with the Weydon Academy Trust, putting solar PV on 5 new schools and expanding 2 more arrays.
Energise South
Energise South is a community benefit society created to develop community-funded solar energy to benefit the people of East Sussex. Since they launched in 2019 they have installed solar PV systems on 10 sites, including schools, community buildings and local businesses.
They have several new projects in the pipeline and are working towards a share offer in early 2026.
North Lincolnshire Community Energy
North Lincolnshire Community Energy were launched in 2023 and have quickly had a big impact in Scunthorpe and the surrounding area, installing solar PV on more than 20 sites including schools, the local football stadium, and community spaces.
They have had 2 successful share offers in 2 years, and they are now working towards Phase 3.
