Reading Community Energy Society
Reading Community Energy Society (RCES) have launched 3 share offers since 2016, putting renewable energy in the form of solar PV panels on local buildings in Reading and allowing them to benefit from preferentially priced, low carbon electricity. Their next share offer is their biggest installation yet: a solar array on the cities' bus depot building. The share is due to launch in the first half of 2025 and members can expect to receive a fair return - register your interest to be emailed when it goes live.
Edinburgh Community Solar Co-operative
Edinburgh Community Solar, which owns and operates 30 solar panel installations throughout Edinburgh with a total generating capacity of 1.38MW, will be launching their next share offer in the first half of 2025.
