NLCE is nominated for a Community Energy England award!

NLCE CEE Awards 2025 nomination

North Lincolnshire Community Energy (NLCE), part of the Energy4All family of co-ops, has been nominated for this year's Community Energy England awards in the Community Energy Excellence (Large Organisation) category.

This is fantastic recognition for a co-op that has grown at pace over the last two years, now with 34 solar installations in North Lincolnshire including 15 schools. They work closely with North Lincolnshire Council, who back in 2023 won the award themselves for 'Supportive Local Authority'. The council have been nominated once again for their work facilitating growth, but it's great to see the co-op recognised independently this year as well.

You can find out more about NLCE on their website, and if you live locally it's worth looking at their events. They are not only generating clean energy on rooftops in North Lincolnshire, they also run a busy events schedule for adults and children to get conversations started around community energy and wider sustainability.

NCLE has been nominated in the Large Organisation category alongside South East London Community Energy (Selce), Energy Local, Bath and West Community Energy and Repowering London. An impressive selection and we wish everyone good luck. The awards take place on November 17th in Sheffield, and you can find out more about the other nominations here.
