During the 12 months ending August 2018, we assisted four of our member co-operatives to raise almost £4.7 million in share offers. 2019 saw Energy4All welcome two more co-operatives, Assel Valley and Energise South. We also assisted to raise more than £3.1 million in four separate share offers from Highland Community Energy Society, Assel Valley Community Renewable Society, The Schools’ Energy Society and Reading Community Energy Society. The co-operative has operated a wood chip fuelled district heating system on the Springbok Estate near Alfold, Surrey since June 2015. Prior to installation of the biomass system the heating was supplied by approximately 20 oil boilers, some of which were quite old and inefficient.
