Never heard of Killington? It lies in a very beautiful part of the Lune valley in south east Cumbria. The Killington and District Sustainable Energy Trust (‘K-SET’), the group that initiated the hydro project, was set up in 2009 “to raise awareness of the principles of sustainability” and “to develop exemplar community projects applicable to rural locations for producing energy from renewable sources and reducing energy consumption”

Our target of  £420,000 has been raised to date (26th November 2015)
